In the movie Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Journey, Madalen Mills (born Madalen Yarbrough Mills) an American actress, co-starred with Forest Whitaker and Phylicia Rashad as Journey Jangle. Additionally, she was in the 2022 movie “The Tiger Rising.”
Mills was raised in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, where she attended the Tuscaloosa Magnet School and Tuscaloosa Academy after being born in Atlanta in the United States in January 2009.
Madalen made the decision to audition for her school play at Tuscaloosa Magnet School when she was seven years old. She ultimately received the starring part of Mowgli in “The Jungle Book, Jr.” In 2017, Madalen also co-starred in the major roles of Willy Wonka, Jr. at Birmingham, AL’s Virginia Samford Theater as “Charlie,” and James and the Giant Peach, Jr. at the Tuscaloosa Children’s Theater.
Madalen was the smallest child performer ever chosen for a Broadway production of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s School of Rock, which ran for a full year.
Following a multi-round international talent hunt, Madalen was cast in the lead role of “Journey” in Jingle Jangle two weeks after School of Rock on Broadway came to an end.
